About Anissa Palleson

My back ached and my clothes reeked of oil from the fryer at work. Once, I had loved French fries almost more than any other food. But ever since I’d taken the fast food job in order to help pay for college, I had started to think that I might never want to eat another fry again.

I barely managed to get my apartment door open, letting my backpack drop to the ground with a thud almost as soon as I was inside. I winced, waiting and listening to see if I had woken up my roommate. Kelly was normally quite a light sleeper and had more early morning classes than any sane person should even consider taking, but she didn’t come crashing out of her bedroom to scream at me for waking her.

Sighing softly, I kicked off my shoes and was preparing to lift the polo shirt I wore as a uniform over my head, when I realized that someone else was in the apartment. Stretched out on the sofa, bathed only in the light of the television. I could just make out a muscular and definitely bare chest that was hardly covered by a sheet.

A man?

Who could it be?

I let go of my shirt and stepped closer to the stranger, curiosity getting the better of me.

Whoever he was, he was gorgeous, with quite possibly the most kissable mouth that I’d ever seen. He shifted slightly and the sheet covering him slid down a bit more.

My breath caught.

I could see his hipbone. Could almost see the thatch of hair between his legs, as well as the shape of his cock. Though he wasn’t erect, the shadows formed by the sheet over that part of him seemed to indicate he was quite well-endowed.

Was he actually naked under that sheet?

My pussy grew wet, my inner muscles clenching with a rhythm that I had nearly forgotten. It had been a very long time since I’d been with a guy.

I took another step forward.

Telling myself that it was something that I needed to do in order to figure out who he was.

My fingers twitched with the need to touch him. To…

I didn’t think he was here for Kelly. For one thing, he wouldn’t be sleeping on the couch if he was. Right?

There was something oddly familiar about him, but I couldn’t figure out what. I knew all of the guys who had been in and out of my roommate’s life for the last thirteen years. Ever since she and I had become the best of friends back in the fourth grade.

But I was coming up blank as to who this guy could be. I was certain that I would have remembered somebody who looked like this.

I yawned and stretched. Felt my back pop in protest. This was one mystery that would have to wait until morning.

I stepped away from the stranger, but he was still on my mind when I showered. I touched myself under the running water, not to get clean, but to satisfy the dirty images that were filling my head.

Made myself cum. More than once. In the shower and then again in my bed.

When I finally fell asleep, I dreamed of him. Hot and lusty dreams that woke me more than once in the night, with my heart racing and my blankets all twisted about my legs.

And each time I realized that it had nothing more than a dream, the disappointment was incredible.

Needless to say, I was still exhausted and almost more tired when my alarm went off than I was when I first went to bed. I was sorely tempted to ignore the annoying sound but could not, even when I tried to bury my head under my pillows to get away from it.

It was the smell of coffee that lured me out. Both enticing and surprising. Kelly should have been at her classes by now, and I knew she was even more of a zombie first thing in the morning than I was. She never remembered to turn on the coffee pot.

Nearly falling over as I shoved on a pair of shorts, I staggered out into the hall and toward the kitchen.

Stopped short.

The stranger was standing there. His back was to me, as he poured himself a cup of coffee, but I was certain that it had to be him.

Greedily, I took in the sights that I had not seen before. Of a very fine ass barely covered by a pair of boxer shorts. My fingers itched with the need to touch him there. I could imagine myself clutching at that taut flesh as he moved over me. Inside me.

Then he started to turn around and I quickly snapped my gaze back up to his face.

Once again, I was struck by the sense that I should know him, when he smiled at me. “Good morning, Jay-jay.”

Oh, fuck.

There was only one person in the world who had ever called me that. Kelly’s kid brother. Because when I’d first met the family, he hadn’t been able to say my whole name, Jaime, for some reason and the nickname had stuck. “Cody?”

“It’s been a long time.”

“Yeah.” No kidding. Unlike my roommate, I had never gone home from college during the holidays or even in the summers. Though she had invited me to stay with her family, knowing how much I wanted to stay away from my own, I hadn’t wanted to.

Which meant that the last time I had seen her brother was almost five years ago.

The gawky thirteen-year old that I had remembered—scrawny and with a mouth full of braces—had somehow been replaced by this drop-dead gorgeous guy in front of me. I knew he had to be eighteen now, and he had not only grown up, but out. He was easily a head taller than myself and definitely could not be called scrawny any longer.

I shouldn’t be looking at him like I knew I was. Still breathing a little too fast and needing to cross my arms over my chest to hide the way my nipples had hardened. It had been one thing to lust after him when I’d assumed that he was a stranger.
